We have a forest school where children (and grown-ups) can learn what nature is all about and what plants and animals still live in our woods and meadows. So if you can identify what can been seen in the above photo (and I don’t mean the clover!), you can be proud of yourself! Anyway, the cats are happy that they can enjoy so much wild and tamed nature. They particularly love the lighter and longer evenings of summer and if the weather is as nice as it has been for the last 2 days they only come inside because they are hungry. Some like to make the most of the setting sun, while others prefer their favourite place in the half shade or shade. Our short spell is supposed to end tonight with a (thunder) bang. So I hope the weekend will be nicer where you are!

PS: Happy July 4th and a wonderful long holiday weekend to all our readers in the US, particularly to Jennie and David, Heidi and Tony and Micki and her posse. Have lots of fun!
