As all regualars and cat owners know, „meows“ are a form of communication reserved for humans. Between cats body language rules. „Listen“ to the following discussion between Marvi and Islay I witnessed a couple of weeks ago. To make it easier for you, I have transcribed it (for your convenience I have place the „flip book“ after both languages):

M: Look! Do you see that?

I: What?

M: I am sure there is something!

M: Can’t you see it?

I: What?

M: Islay, don’t be daft. LOOK!
I: I AM looking and I cannot see anything.

M: But I am quite sure there is something!!!
I: Nonsense!

I: I assure you, there is nothing!

M: Okay, okay, if you say so… (mumbles: But there was something!)

M: Guck mal! Siehst du das?

I: Was?

M: Ich bin sicher, da ist was!

M: Siehst du denn nichts?

I: Was?

M: Islay, stell dich nicht so an. SCHAU DOCH!
I: Ich SCHAUE, aber ich seh‘ nichts.

M: Aber ich bin ganz sicher. Da ist etwas!!!
I: Blödsinn!

I: Ich versichere dir, das ist nichts!

M: Okay, okay, wenn du das sagst… (murmelt: Aber da war doch etwas!)

Viele Grüße!
