On Sunday we had the most splendid weather. The first really warm spring day broke a record in the all time list with 23,7 degrees Celsius. The cats were overjoyed. I had to spoil the fun for Ice-B a little and caged one of the catnips in the hope that it will survive. As you can see he found another victim whose future is doubtful. The most interesting thing though was the rising moon in the middle of the day. Apart from the cats you will also find a few of the other plants that are currently in bloom in the garden.
PS: Short update: Joschi was diagnosed with kidney problems yesterday. We are currently looking into various treatment options.

Am Sonntag hatten wir das wundervollste Frühjahrswetter. Dieser erste wirklich warme Frühlingstag hat dann auch gleich mit 23,7 Grad (gemessen in Lippetal, NRW) alle Wetteraufzeichnungsrekorde für März gebrochen. Die Katzen waren verständlicherweise begeistert. Dem Eisbären musste ich allerdings den Spaß etwas verderben. Seine Lieblingskatzenminze ist nämlich inzwischen gesichert, aber er hat ja schnell ein neues Opfer gefunden. So viel permanente Zuneigung hält auch die stärkste Pflanze nicht aus. Am besten hat mir allerdings der um ca. 13:30 aufgehende Mond im Osten gefallen. Außerdem findest du unten noch Bilder von dem, was sonst momentan noch so bei uns blüht.
