islay_2014_08_peachtree

There are a couple of issues now that explain how cats mark their territory. Today I want to share some pictures of Islay that show him marking our little baby apple tree. As I happened to be real close you can see very well how he leaves his personal mark by using the glands at the side of his mouth and flews. (And for all those gardeners amongst you, the tree in the image above is of course not an apple tree but a peach.)

PS: Only SEVEN more days until the nomination ends for the Katzenparade top model! In case you have not voted yet, may I remind you of the real fantastic photos and issues we had in February – even if I say so myself? My favourites are Ice-B in his catsuit, Ginger snoozing, the „Maplewood“ series I, II and III, Marvi and Islay synchronising and of course the „bird issue„. What are your favourites? Let me know!
