The sunlight obviously played some nasty tricks on the rest of the guessers but there are really only 4 cats on this picture: Marvi, Sander and Islay in plain view and Isfrid sitting half hidden on the left under the cypress. So the correct answer is c).
And what were Joschi and Mrs. Peel doing? The latter was lying in ambush under the yew nearby and Joschi was relaxing in the orchard next to the sage.

Und wo waren Joschi und Mrs.Peel? Letztere lag unter der nahen Eibe auf der Lauer und Joschi entspannte sich im Obstgarten neben dem Salbei.
