Happy New Year! And a belated Happy Birthday to our friend Schmotti! Having your birthday on January, 1st may seem odd to you but when the actual date of birth of a stray cannot even be remotely determined, the vet and/or the staff of the animal shelter will use Jan 1st as birthday in the cat’s documents, vaccination record etc. Prominent example: Ginger’s official birthday was on 01/01, too.

Quite a few things happened during our extended break, like we had the first snow, the water pipe in the shed broke and Islay had his routine heart sonogram taken. So we have a lot of catching up to do and I hope to tell you all during the next couple of days.

But let’s now start 2017 with our birthday girl and our first Monday Morning Riddle of the year.

Question: What do you think, how old did Schmotti turn on Jan, 1st 2017?

a) 14

b) 16

c) 18

d) 20

Frohes Neues Jahr!

a) 14

b) 16

c) 18

d) 20

Ich wünsche euch eine gute erste Woche!! May the best of your past be the worst of your future!
